Restrictive Covenants
- Why do we have Subdivision Notices (SN) and Restrictive Covenants (RC)?
- What are they?
- What are the differences?
- Who enforces what?
- How the Angus Glen neighborhood could address issues as they arise?
On Jan 16th at the 2006 Annual General Meeting, Robert Morand, AGRA VP presented his findings on the restrictive covanents all Angus Glen homeowners either agreed to in their contracts to purchase, or, have ASSUMED in a re-sale. The covenants relate to the architectural theme for the plan of the subdivision which is directed at establishing design guidelines for all buildings and structures and compatibility between buildings and the natural environment, with the primary focus being a golf course. They affect all lots in the development, and remain in effect for 40 years.
