A by-law amendment to the parking permit program is being introduced to Council on June 22nd. Attached is a copy of the by-law amendment. The town will be sending a note to residents advising them of the parking permit program and when they will begin ticketing vehicles again in the West Village. By-Law Amendment – West Village Parking
Warden Ave. will be closed between 16th Ave. and Major Mackenzie Dr. in order to expand the road to 4 lanes. The actual start date for the project has not been confirmed yet. Please join the Angus Glen Ratepayers Association on Monday, June 21 at the Park on Prospector’s Drive as we clean up our parks and community street. This is our second Annual Spring clean up day. Meet at the mail box shelter at 7pm. Gloves and garbage bags will be provided.
This is a great opportunity to get out and meet your neighbours while taking pride in our neighbourhood.

On April 20, 2010, Development Services Committee received all delegations regarding the subject matter and the discussion of this matter was referred to the April 27, 2010 Development Services Committee meeting.
Please note this meeting is open to the public and the Development Services Committee has indicated that the purpose of the April 27, 2010 meeting is for Committee deliberations on this matter. As such, it is not anticipated that further delegations will be heard at this meeting.

Markham Fire and Emergency Services responded to a room and contents fire in a three storey home in the Angus Glen subdivision overnight. The fire was contained to the room of origin on the second floor. There is extensive smoke damage to the open concept third floor. Cause of the fire is unattended candles. There were no civilian or firefighter injuries.
