January 5, 2010
Greetings fellow Angus Glen Residents;
I would like to extend a very happy New Year to you and your family. Once again, our neighourhood looked extremely festive with lights, wreaths and decorations celebrating the holiday season. Now that it is January, it’s time for our Angus Glen Ratepayers Association Annual Town Hall and General Meeting.
This year the meeting will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at 7:00 pm at the Angus Glen Golf Club upstairs in the Kennedy Loft. It is important you plan to attend so that;
i. you are aware of the key initiatives happening in Markham and our neighbourhood
ii. it’s your chance to voice your opinion on matters important to you
iii. you are an active participant in the neighbourhood and community we live in
We have a great evening planned with many returning guests and some new speakers to bring you up to date with timely information about our neighbourhood and community. Mayor Frank Scarpitti and our Town Councilor, Dan Horchik will provide us with an overview of Town-wide and local initiatives and updates. Patrick O'Hanlon, President of Kylemore Communities and Cailey Stollery, President, Angus Glen Golf Course will present us with updates on the many projects in our Angus Glen community and the golf club in addition to presentations from various Directors from the Association. A meeting agenda and key topics for discussion can be found on the reverse side.
We will be renewing memberships to the Angus Glen Ratepayers Association beginning at 6:30 pm on the 21st and ask that all households complete the form below and bring it with them along with cash or a cheque for $20 made out to “Angus Glen Ratepayers Association”. All residents of the neighbourhood are welcome to attend the Town Hall Meeting, which will be followed by the Annual General Meeting open to all people who complete the Association Membership form below.
On behalf of your fellow Angus Glen Ratepayers Association Directors, we wish you all the best of health and happiness for 2010 and we look forward to seeing you on Thursday, January 21, 2010.
Yours truly,
Meg Stokes, President, Angus Glen Ratepayers Association
